School Lunches

School meals at St Clement’s are prepared and cooked daily in our school kitchen by our provider Twelve15 and their dedicated team, using fresh ingredients that have been ethically and, where possible, locally sourced.

If your child would like to have school lunches, please visit the School Office, who will also be able to help if your child has any special dietary requirements.

Early Years and Years 1 & 2

Children in Early Years, and years 1 and 2 are entitled to free hot school lunches. The majority of our children in these year groups enjoy a hot lunch with us daily.

Years 3 to 6

Meals for children in years 3 to 6 cost £2.80 per day. This is paid via Arbor. As long as your account is in credit, you can book school meals.

Free school meals

Pupils in years 3 to 6 that are entitled to Pupil Premium may also be entitled to free school meals. If you feel you may be entitled to Pupil Premium, please complete the 'Free School Meals Eligibility Form' which can be found on the 'parental forms' section of this website.

You can download the latest menu below.

Dietary Requirements

If your child has a special dietary requirement or an allergy, please let us know by completing our dietary requirements form, which you can find below or on our ‘parental forms’ page.

Dietary information and information regarding allergens can be found here.

If your child wishes to change from packed lunch to school dinners or from school dinners to packed lunch, the office requires one full week's notice. Please note any change will not take place until the following Monday after the notice period.

If you are in receipt of certain benefits or tax credits, your child may trigger substantial additional funding, known as Pupil Premium (PP), and may also be entitled to free school meals (FSM) in KS2 (Years 3-6).

Primary schools in England now offer a free lunch to every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. However, if the school is to receive Pupil Premium funding for those children who would previously have qualified for Free School Meals, we still need parents to complete a form.

We ask that you help us by completing and returning the Pupil Premium forms to ensure the school receives these funds.

In order for the school to access Pupil Premium funding, an application for free school meals must be made by the parent/carer. Even if the child prefers to bring packed lunches rather than receive a school lunch, it is still vitally important to the school that an application for free school meals is made.

You can access the form here for Years R-2 and Years 3-6, or please contact Mrs Adams.
