Sports Day Success 2018
Judging by the smiles on the children’s faces throughout the day and all the much appreciated thanks, as families left the Harrier Centre yesterday, St Clement’s Sports Day was another huge success this year! The staff were very impressed with the skill, determination and effort that the children displayed both in their individual and team events, as well as the fabulous sportsmanship and tremendous encouragement from children and adults alike. Hosting the day on the athletics track over the last few years has certainly helped develop both the children’s confidence and skills. as have the opportunities to practise there over the last few weeks – this was certainly demonstrated during the inaugural 600m and 800m opportunity for the Key Stage 2 children who were clapped and cheered all the way around. A huge thank you to all involved in organising and contributing to such a successful day – we are already looking forward to next year!
