Year 3

Welcome to Year 3, an exciting year. The pupils have finished their Key Stage 1 chapter and begin their journey into Key Stage 2. The children will embed what they learnt in Key Stage 1 as well as developing their learning further through the broad, balanced and creative Year 3 curriculum. In Year 3, the children will become more independent and self-aware and develop their decision-making skills. We will identify where they are now, re-establish effective learning behaviours and move them forward so that, by the end of the year, they are in the best place they can be to face the challenges of the year ahead. We really want them to make the most of every opportunity and to learn from their mistakes.

At St. Clement’s, everything we do and say is underpinned by the Gospel values. Our mission statement: Growing together in love and learning, forms part of day and is central to the ethos of our school. Please read through the information provided and feel free to contact the Year Three Team if you have any questions or queries. Thank you for your continuing support.
