Welcome to Hedgehog Class.  In Reception, we cover all the areas of the Early Years Curriculum including communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy (comprehension, word reading and writing), mathematics (numbers and numerical patterns), understanding the world (past and present, people, culture and communities) and expressive arts and design (creating with materials, being imaginative and expressive) alongside developing the children’s spirituality and faith in a safe, secure and nurturing environment.  Wonderful learning happens in Reception and we have lots of fun together through exploring and enjoying creative indoor and outdoor activities.
